The Trochus Snail, generally shows tan coloured shell with various algae growth and can grow up to 8cm in length.
Trochus Snails should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of rockwork for grazing as they are efficient consumers of nuisance algae. If insufficient algae be sure to provide dried algae or vegetable-based pellets. Invertebrates do not tolerate copper medications and are sensitive to salinity changes. Trochus Snails are a favorite of hobbyists and are great for beginner hobbyists as they are easy to care for, peaceful and reef safe.
