Strombus luhuanus also known as the Strombus Snail, there shells are generally brown, tan, green and white and they can grow up to 11cm in length.
Strombus Conch should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of rockwork and a deep sand bed for grazing and stirring up the sand. They are generally seen in shallow areas with turtle grass beds. If insufficient algae be sure to provide dried algae or vegetable-based pellets. Invertebrates do not tolerate copper medications and changes to salinity. Strombus generally hunt for food during the day and sleeps at night. Strombus are great for beginner hobbyists as they are easy to care for, peaceful and reef safe.
