Centropyge Angelfish should be added to well established aquariums with plenty of room to swim. Plenty of rock work, caves, cracks, and crevices should be provided for grazing and hiding. Centropyge Angelfish may pick at mobile and sessile invertebrates. A diet of marine meaty, angelfish, and algae-based foods should be provided multiple times daily. Care will need to be taken when handling Angelfish as they have cheeks pines, avoid using nets when handling. Centropyge Angelfish are hermaphroditic meaning they may have both sex organs at some point in their lives. May be territorial towards other Angelfish with the same shape. However, if added to a large enough aquarium and at the same time Dwarf Angelfish may live harmoniously.
The Lemonpeel Angelfish is also known as the Yellow Angelfish, shows mainly yellow with the edges of its gill plate, anal, dorsal fins, and eyes highlighted in blue. Lemon Peel Angelfish can grow up to 14 cm in length.
We recommend a minimum aquarium size of 300L or larger for this species.
